The following are places to stay on Rousay:
Bed & Breakfast:
Greenfield B&B
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
After passing the memorial, it is the second house on the left with trees, before reaching
the junction at the top.
The Taversoe
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn left.
Continue for approximately 2 miles.
Watch out for The Taversoe's sign post on the left, not too far from the Fire Station.
Self-Catering:
Broland
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn right.
Continue for approximately 3 miles, passing the Primary School.
Go straight-ahead at the Crossroads, going up the hill ('Sourin Brae'), taking the second
road on the right as you ascend the hill (the first turning leads to the shop).
Take the first road on the left.
Knarston
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn right.
Continue for approximately 2 miles, passing a building with a wind turbine. It is the next
right, on a bend (it will be the first right bend taken).
Trumland
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn left.
Soon after, take the second turning on the left (the first turn is the Hostel), down a farm
track.
Hostel:
Trumland Hostel
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn left.
Look out for the Hostel's sign, on the left shortly after turning.
Camping:
Trumland Camp Site
Directions:
Follow the main road up from the Ferry Terminal.
At the end of the road, turn left.
Look for the Hostel's sign, on the left soon after turning.
There is a Camping section next to the Hostel.
