Public Bus Service launches on Rousay
A new public transport service was launched on
Rousay this month, operating one day a week.
Every Thursday, between 7am - 7pm, passengers can travel to anywhere on Rousay, for the
price of a standard bus fare. This is an ideal opportunity for going to the shop, Post Office
or Ferry Terminal, or for just visiting friends, etc. Concessionary card holders are entitled
to free or discounted travel, as applicable.
Booking is essential, and must be made by telephoning
01856 821360 by 7pm the Wednesday before travel.
