The Rousay SWRI next meets on Tuesday 10 January, 8pm, at the School.

An Open Meeting, featuring local speakers, Liz and Ed Firth, on A Trip to Canada.

Mobile Library



Library

The Orkney Mobile Library next visits Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre on Thursday 19 January.

World Dance

The next meeting of the Rousay group is on Thursday 19 January, at the Church Centre, 11.15am - 2pm.

Shared lunch.

Everyone is very welcome - even just to come and watch!



Film Showing (The Troll Hunter)



There will be a film showing of 'The Troll Hunter' - a Norwegian fantasy film (cert. 15) -
on Saturday 21 January, 7.45pm for 8pm start, at Rousay School.

All welcome.



Film Showing for Children (Mr. Popper's Penguins)

There will be a film showing of Mr. Popper's Penguins (cert. PG) on Sunday 22 January, 2.45pm for 3pm start, at Rousay School.



Rousay Gun Club AGM

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Rousay Gun Club will be held on Sunday 22 January, 4pm, at Rousay School.

All welcome.



Rousay Allotment Association AGM

The Rousay Allotment Association's Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 January, 8pm, at The Manse.



'Severed or Strangled'



The local RNLI group is holding an event on Saturday 28 January, as part of the RNLI's countrywide 'SOS' funding.

Entitled 'Severed Or Strangled: Part One', this murder mystery event starts at 8pm at the Pier Restaurant.

Teams of 4; £3 per person admission.



Yoga

Yoga sessions restart on Monday 30 January, 12.15pm, in the Church Centre.

All welcome.



Meditation

Meditation sessions will be at the Church Centre every Tuesday, 9.45am - 11am



Craft Classes

All welcome to come along to any or all of the following craft sessions, at the School, 2.30pm - 4.30pm:

Tuesday 10 January, Felting
Tuesday 17 January, Bobbin Lace
Tuesday 24 January, Crocheting
Tuesday 31 January, Needle Felting (with Carlyn Kirkness, note change of time to 1-3pm)



Triangle Club

Triangle Club, held at the Church Centre, takes place every Wednesday, from 10am - 2.30pm.

Please Note:
There will be no Triangle Club on 4 January.
Club for that week will instead be held on Thursday 5 January, at the Pier Restaurant.



Badminton for Children

Badminton for Children is held on Sunday afternoons, Rousay School.
