Church Centre, Rousay
Situated in Sourin, the centre is used as a place of worship, and as a venue for many events, such as folk dancing, sales, etc.
The building is self-sustainable with regards to energy consumption, with its own wind turbine on site.
The centre is also a venue for the weekly Triangle Club, which is a lunch club for the islands' (Rousay, Egilsay, and Wyre) over-60s.
Triangle Club is held from 10am - 2.30pm every Wednesday. Free minibus transport is provided on Rousay, to and from the Church Centre, for users of the Club.
Whilst a two-course meal, refreshments and games are a weekly feature, regular visits from the chiropodist and local hairdresser are also arranged.
